THE BANGERS
The Bat City Bangers represent Austin, Texas in the USLPL 35+ Pro Pickleball League. Named after Austin's famous bat colony at the Congress Avenue Bridge, we embody the spirit and energy of our city.
Our roster of 14 players (7 men, 7 women) brings decades of competitive experience from tennis, racquetball, and other racquet sports. Every player meets the USLPL's 4.5+ skill requirement.

The US Legends Pickleball League is the premier professional organization for elite players. The league operates multiple divisions with a competitive showdown format and YouTube broadcasts.
WHY "BAT CITY"?
Austin is home to the largest urban bat colony in North America. Every evening from spring to fall, over 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from under the Congress Avenue Bridge.
Like those bats, we come out swinging when it's game time. The "Bangers"? That's for the powerful shots we deliver on the court.
